PriceRunner Looks To Drum Up Members

Westlake Village-based PriceRunner is looking to drum up additional members for the site's comparison shopping service with a new promotion, saying that the site will award a vacation to Hawaii for members. PriceRunner, which is a business of Westlake Village-based ValueClick, provides online price comparison shopping services. Membership at the site is free. The services launched in the US last July, after ValueClick purchased the popular European comparison shopping site. The site competes against West LA-based Shopzilla, Los Angeles-based PriceGrabber, and Monrovia-based Smarter.com.
