Irvine-based Printronix has signed an extension of its agreement with IBM to provide line matrix and thermal bar code printer technology for IBM. Printronix also said that IBM will add its radio frequenty identification (RFID) encoding technology to its product portfolio. Printronix solutions are used for supply chain management applications. IBM is Printronix’s largest customer.
