Private equity firm Thoma Cressey Equity Partners announced today that it has acquired Irvine-based Vision Solutions, and Salt Lake City, Utah-based iTera. Financial terms were not disclosed. Thoma Cressey said that the acquisition will create a new firm focused on high availability solutions for IBM's System i products. Vision Solutions is a provider of high availability and data and systems management products. The new firm will oeprate as Vision Solutions.
