    ProQuo Launches Junk Mail Removal Service, Gets Backing from DFJ


    La Jolla-based ProQuo, a new service focused on helping people reduce the amount of paper junk mail they receive, launched today. The firm, which says that it is venture backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, said it would allow users to choose which kinds of paper mail to stop and which kinds to receive. The company said its service is available starting today. The firm is headed by Steven Gal.
