    PureVideo, Starcom in Deal
    PureVideo, a El Segundo-based distributor of online sports and entertainment video, said yseterday that Starcom USA has teamed with the firm to provide ad-supported video downloads for mobile devices. Starcom's client, Nintendo, will be a featured advertiser for free video footage of surfing competitions. The ad supported videos will be available on PureVideo's GrindTV web site, for download to Apple iPod, Microsoft SmartPhone, and other mobile devices. PureVideo recently received a round of funding from SoftBank Capital.
