PureVideo Taps Ask.com Exec
El Segundo-based PureVideo Networks, operators of the advertising-supported viral video sites StupidVideos.com and GrindTV.com, said today that it has appointed Carrie Kelly, previously VP of Search Marketing for Ask.com, as VP of Sales. The firm also appointed Barbara Read as Director of Sales. Read was most recently advertising director at Choice Media. PureVideo is one of the many companies attempting to capitalize on surge in user-generated video, and is backed by SoftBank.
