    QLogic Gets Cisco, EMC Qualification

Aliso Viejo-based QLogic said Thursday that its SANbox switch modules for the IBM BladeCenter have been qualified by Cisco Systems and EMC. The firm, which develops storage switches used for storage area networking and data storage, said that the modules were qualified by Cisco for use with Cisco's MDS 9000 director switch. EMC's qualification covers EMC Symmetrix DMX series and EMC CLARiioN CX storage systems, in conjunction with the Cisco certification. QLogic is a provider of Fibre Channel storage switches, HBAs, and other storage networking products.
