Qualcomm, MLBAM Link On Mobile Services

San Diego-based Qualcomm and MLB Advanced Media, the new media arm of Major League Baseball, said today that they have launched a new mobile service for baseball fans. The new service, which is an extension of MLB.com, allows baseball fans to buy and download team logos, wallpapers, ringtones, and player images. According to the firms, MLBAM is using Qualcomm's BREW BrandXtend Signature Solution for its platform. BrandXtend is Qualcomm's offering which allows brands to sell media, entertainment, music, and games over mobile phones.
