Qualcomm, Broadcom Dismiss Patent Claims

San Diego-based Qualcom said today that it is in an agreement with Broadcom to dismiss all claims and counterclaims over two Broadcom and two Qualcomm patents. The firm said that the agreement is a result of the dismissal of a San Diego Federal Court Case over patent infringement. The two still have remaining lawsuits and patent infringement claims against each other. The patents involved were among a batch of patents that were divided into five jury trials. The dismissal resolves one of the five jury trials, according to Qualcomm.
