Simi Valley-based Qualstar (www.qualstar.com) announced it is shipping tape libraries equipped with Sony SAIT-1 write once, read many tape drives. The company's TLS-5000 Series libraries support storing up to 132 terabytes of data in the SAIT format, which holds up to 500 gigabytes per tape.
