Irvine-based Quest Software has completed its acqiusition of Vintela. Quest announced the acqusition of Vintela in June. Quest will add Vintela's Microsoft Active Directory software into its product portfolio. Vintela's products allow Microsoft products to integrate with Unix, Linux, Java, and Mac systems. Quest is paying $57.4M in cash for all the outstanding shares of Vintela, as well as assumption of options equivalent to 1.4M shares of Quest common stock.
