Aliso Viejo-based Quest Software said Monday afternoon that it has acquired the assets of Provision Networks, a developer of presentation and desktop virtualization software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Provision Networks provides software which connects Microsoft's Terminal Services software to virtualization software such as VMware, Virtual Iron, XenSource, SWSoft, and Microsoft. Quest said that Paul Ghostine, co-founder and CEO of Provision Networks, will join Quest as part of the acquisition. Provision Networks was based in Reston, Virginia.
