Quidel Links On Influenza Test
San Diego-based Quidel Corporation, a provider of healthcare diagnostic tests, and Prodesse, which develops molecular diagnostic reagents for infection diseases, said that the two are in a partnership. The two companies will team up to promote Prodesse's ProFlu+ molecular diagnostic test for influenza within the United States. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The diagnostic test is being used for diagnosis of repiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in pediatric patients.
