Quub Upgrades Android Client
Irvine-based Quub, which is developing status-update and presence software--that integrates with the Twitter micro-blogging service and other social networking web sites like Facebook--said last week that it has made a couple of upgrades for the firm's Android client. The firm said it has updated the client software to work better with the on-screen keyboard, ability to publish the status of users either privately to groups or publicly on Twitter and Facebook. The company--which is a spinout of technology developed at UC Irvine--develops a service which uses software to help users more quickly update their status, suggesting possible status update lines, based on a user's status history. The firm also has an iPhone app.
