RealD, Disney In Lion King 3D Glasses Promotion

Los Angeles-based 3D movie technology provider RealD, and Walt Disney Pictures said today that the two are in an effort to provide limited edition 3D glasses in conjunction with the 3D release of "The Lion King". The two said they are providing kids' 3D glasses with a Simba theme, which will be distributed at theaters for free with purchase of a child's ticket. RealD is a provider of 3D movie projection equipment, and associated 3D eyewear. Financial details of the promotion deal between the two firms were not disclosed.
