RealGravity Finds $3.2M

Los Angeles- and San Francisco-based RealGravity, a newly launched firm focused on online video distribution and syndication, announced today that it has raised $3.2M in a funding round. The Series A round was led by Kohlberg Ventures, and also included Peter Boboff of Kicklabs and Transmedia Capital. RealGravity was co-founded by Luke McDonough and Sid Conklin. RealGravity said it provides an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of online video content and advertising. The firm said it has over 500,000 professional videos available to web publishers. The company also provides an ad server and content management system for its customers, which include NBC Universal Sports, Howcast,, the Tribune Company, and others. socalTECH had uncovered the funding via regulatory filings earlier in the week.
