RepairSmith Inks Partnership With CarAdvise

Los Angeles-based mobile auto repair provider RepairSmith said this week that it has inked a partnership with CarAdvise, an online marketplace for vehicle maintenance and repair. Financial details of the strategic partnership were not announced. According to the companies, CarAdvise members now have access to RepairSmith's convenient at-home services. The companies said that CarAdvise members can schedule appointments, approve and pay for services, and view their service history online. RepairSmith says it is offering up "no-contact" car repair services to minimize contact between car owners and technicians by practicing social distancing during appointments, and that its technicians wear a mask and gloves to all appointments, and clean high-touch areas in the vehicles it services. RepairSmith--unlike some other online auto repair services--employs ites technicians, and provides them custom outfitted vehicles with tools and equipment, with a large menu of repair and maintenance services for both individual car owners and fleets, according to the company.
