Report Pans Ring's Security Features

In a continued barrage on Santa Monica-based Ring, Vice has published an article calling Ring's security "awful". The article complains that Ring leaves the onus of security on its users--who typically are not sophisticated enough to set up features like two factor authentication, or using better passwords. Vice has been running a series of articles on multiple hacking of Ring cameras--usually due to the choice of poor passwords or using previously compromised account names and credentials. Ring is now part of Amazon.
