Reuters, Akonix Ink Compliance Partnership
San Diego-based Akonix said this morning that it has joined Reuters' Messaging Compliance Partner Program. Akonix will enable Reuters Messaging customers to use the Akonix instant messaging firewall to ensure enterprise-wide compliance, archiving, security, and control. Reuters Messaging is a business instant messaging service, designed for the financial services industry. The Akonix solution will allow for auditing and archiving of instant messaging to comply with National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) rules.
