San Diego-based RF Magic has teamed up with a provider of WiMax chipsets to put together a combined WiMax Mini-PCI module. RF Magic said it has teamed with Wavesat, a WiMax chipset provider, to develop a sub-$100 mini-PCI module designed for OEM manufacturers. The product combines RF Magic's broadband radio frequency ICs with Wavesat's WiMax capability for companies developing WiMax products.
