    RiffWare Deploys On Verizon

Pasadena-based RiffWare, which develops an application for managing automotive maintenance information on cell phones, said today that it has released an application on Verizon Wireless. According to the firm, its Miles to Go application allows users to track mileage, schedule oil changes and maintenance, and provide recall and alerts to car owners. The firm said the application runs on BREW and is available for $2.99 from Verizon's store front. RiffWare's founders are formerly from Idealab's robotics firm, Evolution Robotics.
