    Rockwell Scientific, UCSB Demo InP Technology


    Thousand Oaks-based Rockwell Scientific Company (www.rockwellscientific.com), the University of California Santa Barbara, IQE and the Mayo Clinic announced that they have demonstrated a high speed Indium Phosphide circuit as part of a milestone in a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) program. The sub-micron scaled Indium Phosphide Double Heterojunction Bipolar Technology (InP DHBT) is part of a program to advance mixed-signal circuit applications, for use in in-flight SATCOM links in-combat programmable electronic warfare jammers, and millimeter-wave transmitters.
