Rubicon Project Debuts New, Private Marketplace For Mobile Ads
Los Angeles-based real-time ad marketplace operator Rubicon Project said today that it has launched a new product, letting publishers create their own private marketplaces for mobile ad inventory. The company said the new offering allows publishers and buyers to find and negotiate premium inventory, making it simpler for sellers to package their premium inventory, for buyers to find that inventory, and for the two to agree and execute on any arrangements. Rubicon said the new offering classifies inventory by platform (phone, tablet) and mobile operating system (iOS, Android, Blackberry or Windows).
