    SAIC Completes SM Consulting Buy


    San Diego-based Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), said today that it has completed its acquisition of Linthicum, Md.-based SM Consulting. SM Consulting is a provider of linguistics services to the fedral, state, and local government sectors. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. SM Consulting employs more than 460 people, and provides foreign language translation and similar services to the defense and intelligence community. The firm will become part of SAIC's Mission Integration Business Unit. The acquisition was originally announced in March.
