Scopely Dangles Chance At Trip For Zynga Recruits

Ever wanted to see one of the seven wonders of the world? Scopely is dangling a chance to win a free trip to one of the seven wonders of the world, to anyone who helps recruit Zynga developers to the company. In a twitter posting, Scopely said it is looking for developers from Zynga's New York and Los Angeles offices to join the videogame developer. Scopely is one of a large number of companies now eyeing former and current Zynga employees, on news that Zynga cut 520 employees yesterday. Scopely didn't provide other details of the move, but the company is known for its many unique pitches to recruit employees for the company, including offering up cash, bacon and beer (plus an oil painting of themselves) to new recruits. Scopely, which is venture backed by Anthem Venture Partners, The Chernin Group, Greycroft Venture Partners and New Enterprise Associates (NEA), develops mobile games.
