Selva Ventures Raises $34M For Consumer Brand Investments

Los Angeles-based Selva Ventures announced this morning that it has raised $34M in a second fund, which it will use to invest in "consumer brands that promote healthier living". According to the firm, its backers include Unilever Ventures, PagsGroup, and Obelysk. The company said it is investing in emerging companies across the health, wellness, beauty, and personal care. The venture capital firm's first fund was worth $10M, and was raised in 2019. Selva Ventures is led by Kiva Dickinson, Founder and Managing Partner. The venture capital fund says its investments so far include MUD\WTR (coffee alternative), Native Pet (pet supplements), Mid-Day Squares (functional chocolate) and Cake (sexual wellness), and the firm is focused on seed and Series A startups.
