Irvine-based Sendio said late last night that the firm has appointed Kevin Bowyer as the firm's CEO. Bowyer was most recently the firm's Senior Vice President of Sales and Service. Bowyer has previously served at Cogen Global Services, Mitel Networks, and Nortel Networks. Bowyer has been at Sendio since February of 2007. Sendio is a developer of an email appliance which blocks spam and viruses using sender authentication, and is venture backed by Kline Hawkes California, LP and Momentum Venture Management.
