Sequoia Communications Names Board Member
San Diego-based RF semiconductor company Sequoia Communications has appointed a new board member. Dennis Roberson, currently vice provost for new initiatives and executive director of the Institute of Business and Interprofessional Studies at the Illinois Insitute of Technology, will join the board. Roberson will also serve on the FCC advisory committee representing Sequoia Communications. Roberson was previously EVP and CTO for Motorola, and has served at AT&T, IBM, and DEC. Sequoia is developing multi-mode, single-chip RF ICs targeted at wireless handset manufacturers.
