    SGI Looks For Alias Spinoff
    Silicon Graphics announced that it i slooking to spin off its Alias division, which is a provider of 3D graphics technology and services. The firm announced that it is in discussions with a leading private equity investment firm on the deal. Alias runs a Custom Development Center in Santa Barbara.
