Shopzilla Names President As Mohit, Phelps Depart
Santa Monica-based Shopzilla has named William Glass, the firm's current COO, to President of the online service. Shopzilla said yesterday afternoon that current president John Phelps and co-founder and chief product officer Farhad Mohit will be leaving operating roles at the company, although Mohit will retain title of chairman emeritus. Shopzilla said that Phelps will assist in management transition at the firm. Shopzilla was acquired by E.W. Scripps in June of last year.
