    Siderean Adds Metadata Generation


    El Segundo-based Siderean Software has released new software for generating metadata. The company said that it's new software creates metadata for unstructured and structured data based on IBM's Unstructured Information Management Architecture. The metadata is used by enterprise software to better sort and display large amounts of information. The company said that it has adapters for Microsoft SharePoint, RSS, Web, and file access to its data. Sideran's software is used by large enterprises to automatically sort and categorize products, information, and other large amounts of data.
