El Segundo-based Siderean Software, which is developing enterprise search tools, said today that it has appointed a new CEO. Michael A. Schmitt has joined the company as CEO from Ariba, where he was EVP and Chief Marketing Officer. Schmitt has also served at JD Edwards. Siderean develops information navigation software, and is backed by Clearstone Venture Partners, InnoCal Venture Capital, and Red Rock Ventures. More information »
