Sightly Gets $1.7M For Video Ads

San Diego-based Sightly said this morning that it has raised $1.7M in a seed funding, to go towards its video advertising technology. The funding was led by Mack Capital, and also included Tomorrow Ventures and 500 Startups. Sightly said it is developing video advertising technology to help target video ads with locally relevant messaging, delivering them to users across different kinds of devices.
