SkinMedica Raises $11M
Carlsbad-based SkinMedica has raised a Series E-1 round of funding, the firm said yesterday. The round was led by Montagu Newhall Associates, and included participation by existing investors Domain Associates, Apax Partners, Perseus-Soros Biopharmaceutical Fund, HealthCare Ventures, EuclidSR Partners and Montreux Equity Partners. SkinMedica is developing cosmeceuticals for the dermatology field. The firm has now raised over $90M in venture funding.
