SKY MobileMedia Finds $6.25M

San Diego-based SKY MobileMedia announced this morning that it has raised a Series A funding worth $6.25M. The funding came from Enterprise Partners Venture Capital. SKY is focused on developing software applications for wireless phones. The company said that it would use the capital to production launch the company's wireless applications software platform, and add engineering resources to its locations in San Diego, South Korea, Europe, and India. The company said that its common software platform allows manufacturer to develop features that work across a portfolio of handsets, from entry level to high end multimedia terminals.
