SL Power Expands Distribution With Avnet
SL Power Electronics, a Ventura-based manufacturer of AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, has extended an agreement with electronics components distributor Avnet. Avnet said Thursday that under the revised contract, Avnet's Electronics Marketing Americas group will now distribute SL Power's Condor-brand power supply products in addition to the various Ault-brand products already available. SL Power, a subsidiary of SL Industries Inc., manufactures AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies ranging from 6 watts to more than 6,000 watts and is headquartered in Ventura, Calif. Avnet, which has more than 250 locations and 100,000 customers in 70 countries, reported $14.25 billion in gross revenues for the fiscal year ended July 1, 2006.
