Slacker Radio Unveils New UI, Redesign

San Diego-based Slacker said today that it has launched a complete redesign of the site and service, adding a number of online personalities to the service and focusing in on artists, personalities and musicians. Slacker--which has been occupying a niche in the online radio streaming area--said it is adding personalities and programs such as Tyler Oakley, Rooster Teeth, Comic Book Girl 19, and Nerdist to its list of dedicated online radio stations, tied to a redesign which it says provides a "more modern look". The new app and UI is initially available on the web and on iOS.
