    SmartDrive Lands Series C Funding


    San Diego-based SmartDrive Systems, which develops systems for risk management for fleet vehicles, has raised an undisclosed Series C round of funding from Oak Investment Partners. SmartDrive said that Revolution Ventures, The Founders Fund, and Western Technology Investments also particpated in the deal. SmartDrive's service includes hardware and software for capturing video of driving incidents, and is targeted at automotive fleet managers.
