    SmartSound Inks Deal With Avid

Northridge-based SmartSound said today that it has inked a deal with Avid Technology to include SmartSound's Soniocfire Pro software in its educational classes. Avid's educational courses will include an introduction to the use of SmartSound's software, which allows filmmaker, broadcasters, and other A/V editors to easily score music into their productions. SmartSound's software includes a library of soundtracks for creating the right mood for video productions.
