    SMC Rolls 802.11g Wireless Bridge


    Irvine-based SMC Networks has rolled out a new, dual-radio 802.11g wireles bridge. The company's new 2.4GHz dual-radio 802.11g can connect wireless LANs and wireless client access at 54Mbps bandwidth. The new device is targeted at branch offices, schools, and campus environments. The new hardware can also be used as a bridge repeater, AP repeater, and dual access point.
