    SMC Takes Aim At Resorts And Truck Stops


    Irvine-based SMC Networks, a hardware manufacturer provider of wireless access points, bridges, and other equipment, said today that it is targeting the hospitality industry with its solutions. The company said that it is working with tier-one broadband service providers and integrators to allow for installation of wireless access at remote resorts, truck stops, motels, and college campuses. SMC offers equipment that includes authentication, authorization, and accounting for public access points.
