    Snap.com Rolls Energy Saving Widget

Pasadena-based Perfect Market Technologies, the firm behind the Snap.com search engine, has rolled out yet another widget. The firm said this morning that it has made a new CO2 Saver toolbar for Windows users, which will allow computer users to quickly save electricity when they are away from their computers. The free toolbar uses Windows Power Management settings to reduce computer energy use when a user isn't using their computer, and calculates the amount of CO2 a user has saved. The new tool also allows organizations to customize their own versions of the toolbar with their logo.
