SodaHead Scores $8.4M
Los Angeles-based SodaHead, an online community focused on social Q&A, said this morning that the firm has raised $8.4M in a Series B funding. The round was led by Mission Ventures, and included prior investor Mohr Davidow Ventures. According to SodaHead, the funding will go towards new marketing initiatives and strategic hires. SodaHead was founded by Jason Feffer, who had previously helped start MySpace as its VP of Operations, and best friend Michael Glazer. The funding brings the company's total raised to $12.7M. The firm said it now has over 600,000 members to the site, which allows people to ask their friends and others any question, and offer up answers.
