Irvine-based Solarflare Communications has appointed a new VP of Sales and Business Development, announcing yesterday afternoon that Russ Krapf has joined the firm in the new position. Krapf was most recently at ARIO Data Networks, where he was CEO and co-founder. Krapf has also served at JNI, Western Digital, and Seagate. Solarflare is developing physical layer chips for 10GBASE-T Ethernet networks. More information »
