    Solarflare Gets UNH Certification


    Irvine-based Solarflare Communications said today that it has completed interoperability tests at the University of New Hampshire's Interoperability Lab (UNH-IOL). The testing of its 10GBASE-T PHY products from Solarflare covered conformance testing and interoperability of the firm's products with products from other vendors. Solarflare is a venture backed developer of 10 Gigabit Ethernet controllers and PHY chips, for running 10G Ethernet over copper. The firm is venture backed by Oak Investment Partners, Foundation Capital, Accel Partners, Amadeus Capital Partners, Anthem Ventures, IDG Ventures and Miramar Venture Partners.
