Solarflare Partners With Communications Equipment Manufacturer
Irvine-based Solarflare Communications said today that it has partnered with Delta Networks, a manufacturer of network communications equipment. Solarflare said that Delta Networks is manufacturing products based on Solarflare's 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 10GBASE-T technology for OEMs. Financial terms and further details of the partnership were not disclosed. Solarflare develops chips to connect 10 gigabit Ethernet over twisted pair cabling. Delta Networks manufactures Ethernet switches, broadband, and wireless products for OEMs.
