El Segundo-based Sometrics, the in-game virtual currency and monetization startup headed by Ian Swanson, has reportedly been acquired by American Express. The value of the deal was $30M, according to the report from TechCrunch. Sometrics had raised over $5.25M in funding from Big Sky Ventures, Greycroft Partners, Mailroom Fund, and Steamboat Ventures.
