SpaceX Aims At Rapid Fire Launch Pace

Hawthorne, California-based SpaceX has set a rapid launch pace at its operations at the Kennedy Space Center and Vandenberg, and is hoping to launch two rockets in May, and then an unprecedented five launches in June. According to multiple launch schedules, SpaceX--fresh off a launch on May 1st--is looking to launch its next rocket on May 15th, putting the Inmarsat 5 F4 communications satellite to space, quickly followed by another launch two weeks later on June 1st. That launch will delivery cargo to the international Space Station--the 11th cargo delivery mission to the ISS. The launch to the ISS will then be quickly followed by yet another launch in mid June, to deliver the BulgariaSat 1 communications satellite to geostationary orbit. SpaceX then has another three launches planned: a launch of Intelsat 35E in late June from Florida, a launch of the SES 11/EchoStar 105 satellite sometime in June from Florida, and on June 29th, a launch of the Iridium Next 11-20 mission from Vandenberg.
