SpaceX Delays PAZ Launch To Wednesday

Hawthorne-based SpaceX delayed its launch of the Spanish PAZ satellite from Vandenberg Air Force Base over the weekend to Wednesday, February 21st. According to SpaceX, the delay is so its team can take "additional time to perform final checkouts of upgraded fairing." SpaceX had originally intended to launch its payload on Saturday, February 17th, but decided late Thursday to instead to shift it to Sunday, February 18th, before the current delay. The rocket is expected to launch now at around 6:17am on February 21st, barring any further delays, in a trajectory which is expected to by highly visible in the twilight hours above Southern California's coast.
