Specific Media Ties With Advertising Analytics Firm
Irvine-basd Specific Media, the online advertising network which also owns MySpace, said Monday that it has tied with Nielsen Catalina Solutions, which measures advertising performance. The firms said they have launched a new product called Shopper Access, which is aimed at reaching shoppers in the consumer packaged goods category via display and video ads. The two said they will integrate offline purchase behavior with online ad data through the alliance. Financial details of the link between the firms was not disclosed. Nielsen Catalina Solutions is a join venture of Nielsen and Catalina Marketing.
